The Role
To qualify for this role, you should have an environmental science, geology, soils, engineering, or hydrogeology qualification and at least 5+ years of experience as a Contaminated Land Consultant.
You will be eager to:
- Initiate and contribute to the preparation of project fee proposals and tenders.
- Nurture and grow your client network.
- Manage equipment care and maintenance.
- Provide project management and technical expertise for Preliminary Site Investigations (PSI) and Detailed Site Investigations (DSI)/remediation project planning and implementation.
- Conduct soil, vapor, and groundwater monitoring.
- Compile data and interpret and write reports on a variety of projects.
- Travel both inter and intra-state as needed.
What You’ll Offer Us
- Direct experience (5+ years) in contaminated land assessment and/or remediation.
- Ability to work across a variety of land and groundwater projects in settings like urban renewal, infrastructure, government, Defence and resources.
- A robust understanding of NEQM 2013, waste regulations, and experience in asbestos & hazardous materials assessments.
- Strong technical background and passion for training junior staff.
- Exceptional verbal and written skills.
- Safety–focused approach.
- Australian manual driver’s license and permanent residency in Australia.
