The EESI Group

Founded in 1984, Environmental Earth Sciences International (EESI) Group specialises in providing comprehensive solutions to assess, remediate, and repair degraded land. Specialising in brownfield sites, EESI Group actively designs solutions to minimise the environmental impacts of projects and transform land for beneficial use, creating resilient & healthy environments.

Operating from Australia, the USA and the UK, EESI Group comprises three business units:

  • Environmental Earth Sciences: A contaminated land consultancy focusing on assessment, management, monitoring and remediation operating from Australia & USA
  • New Soil: A contaminated soil treatment contractor, specialising in bioremediation, based in Australia;
  • EESI Remediation: A contaminated land remediation design & delivery contractor based in the UK.

As a solution–focused organisation, we invest in research and development and distinguish ourselves by designing solutions that not only mitigate environmental impacts and remediate degraded land and groundwater, but also focus on the sustainable use of resources.

Our Vision

A Cleaner, Greener Earth

We leverage our expertise and cutting-edge scientific knowledge to actively pursue our key objective of restoring, repairing, and promoting the sustainable re-use of contaminated and degraded land, water and soil.

Since our establishment in 1984, Environmental Earth Sciences International (EESI) has provided bespoke innovative science, advanced engineering consultancy, and auditing services for contaminated and degraded environments.

Our multidisciplinary team of experts are dedicated to actively helping you make informed decisions and quantifying and reducing the regulatory, legal, and environmental risks of your projects. We actively create cost-effective, sustainable, and time-efficient solutions to solve even the most challenging brownfield environmental problems.

How We Deliver

We approach each project with a solution–driven mindset to design and deliver with clarity and purpose in order to meet our client’s objectives.

We have developed our own consulting framework, which lays the foundation for how we conduct client engagements, ensuring we deliver repeatable, high–standard client-focused outcomes leveraging our multidisciplinary expertise and experience.

Our business operations and processes have been optimised within our Integrated Management System (IMS), which ensures we comply with a range of standards spanning health & safety, environment, security and quality assurance. Our IMS fosters and encourages risk-based thinking and a culture focused on collaboration, training, safety and continual improvement.

For geotechnical, engineering, and other services, we have established trusted partnerships that provide our clients with a seamless end-to-end service offering.
