Environmental EarthSciences (EESI) is looking for the next superstar to join our Queensland team.
This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in contaminated land, groundwater, soil science and environmental risk management – whether you’re a recent graduate, completing postgraduate studies, or already gaining experience in consulting.
At EESI, you’ll work alongside some of Australia’s most experienced soil scientists and contaminated land specialists, contributing to real projects from day one. You’ll be involved with hands-on field experience, develop technical report writing skills and build the confidence to communicate your work with colleagues, clients and regulators.
What you’ll be doing
· Assisting with contaminated site investigationsand remediation projects
· Groundwater and soil sampling
· Site inspections and fieldwork
· Environmental data analysis and technical reporting
· Supporting senior scientists by contributing to client deliverables, work winning proposals and presentations.
What we’re looking for
· A degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Soil Science, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Curiosity, initiative and a willingness to learn
· A clear commitment to specialising in contaminated land, groundwater and environmental risk
· A current driver’s licence
